Nitrogen oxides are used in the production of nitric acid, lacquers, dyes, and other chemicals. Nitrogen oxides are also used in rocket fuels, nitration of organic chemicals, and the manufacture of explosives.

Sulfur dioxide is used in many industries. It’s used to manufacture sulfuric acid, paper, and food preservatives.

Carbon monoxide is used in the purification of nickel and it is used in water gas shift reactions to produce hydrogen.

VOCs can be used as Gasoline, fuels, and solvents.

And it is used in paints, stains, strippers, and finishes
